a bit crack

There’s nowt better than a good gossip, and no-one enjoys it more than Sam and Charlie. Sitting at my desk, I watched the three of them standing by the oil tank, chewing the fat.

S: Ah remember when this field was full o’ coos.
D: Oh?
C: Aye.
S: We brought doon wor beasts to put to the bull.
D: Oh?
C: Aye.
S: There was nay trees then, like.
D: Oh?
C: Aye. Nurn.
D: Ah.
D: So do you want the oil tank, then?
S: Aye.
C: Aye.

3 blethers about “a bit crack”

  1. Sam failed to say that the field was a ‘rig and furrow’ and he ploughed it
so that the present lawn that runs down to the vegetable patch was as a result of his work.
========Still its a lot to say so maybe you’ll get it in stages!=========

    1. Are you in La France, Nat? I zink zey all speak like zat in La France.
