moving pictures

I’m trying something a bit different here, I’ve not done this before and I’m trying to work out how to show video without having to use youtube or other such public service.

However I’ve no idea if it will actually work, especially on the wide variety of mac, pc, tablet etc that I know you use to read this.

I’ve tried to keep the filesize down which does affect the quality a bit, but it’s a starting point.  In this case the file is just under 2 mb, perhaps I could increase the size for better quality but it depends on if there are download delays etc at your end.

Here goes, let me know how it looks at your end, and what you viewed on…

9 blethers about “moving pictures”

  1. Works perfectly on my mac. Is it possible to make the screen size, picture size, a little bigger.
    Great skiing Kerry
    Dad

    1. I think the picture size is dependent on the file. I’ll experiment to see about making it bigger…
It was a great day, worth the effort to the top!

    1. My Dad will be very flattered, Ruth – because that’s him skiing past me, he certainly looks much more like a 50 year old than a 75 year old, doesn’t he?

  2. Doesn’t work on my tablet Kerry – boo – but there’s an issue with video (flash?) and Google tablets – grrr. Lovely to see your snowy pics especially as it’s 36 degrees C here today! Your one with the line of sheep is fabaroony.

too late, no more blethering allowed on this post!
